Demo Level Available
So here is a very early release that's playable. The level isn't really where it'll be when the game is done overall, but I really want to get something out there to show where I'm at and recruit some help especially with voice acting. If you're up for recording your voice reading scripted lines I'd love to have your help! Or really, if you're interested in helping in any way, just reach out. I have more of the game working than is shown here (such as building a base/buildings/fences, missions with objectives, another map) but I am not getting much done going solo on this. The demo is playable on PC, Mac or Linux but you'll need a real laptop. Sorry, no mobile devices yet. This is the opening scene with my new scene generator system in place! Anyone want to do voice acting? =P
It's fixed!
Sorry I haven't posted anything in a while; my terrain data got corrupted and I lost the East Wilderness, and then fixing that broke everything. The project is back to normal now, but the East Wilderness map was gone beyond repair or backup. At any rate, here's Sidon, where the game will start.
Minimap and Camera
The minimap is working in the bottom right corner. You can drag around on the map and it moves the main camera. I think I like the trees a bit shorter and the camera zoomed in more.
East Wilderness
So here's the East Wilderness v1, Where Moroni chased the Lamanites.... to the borders of the seashore. Which you can see clearly featured below... where they fall off the edge of the map.
